Joomla World Conference Held

The three day long Joomla World Conference was held at India on 6th November. For the first time, Bangladeshi organization JoomShaper participated as an associate sponsor of the conference. Another Bangladeshi firm- Themexpert, also participated in the conference.
Sarah Watz, President of Open Source Matters– the developer of Joomla, presented the key note speech at the opening day of the conference. It was announced that the next version- Joomla 4, would be launched on May next year.

He also informed that the attendees were handed a coupon upon entering the conference booth and on the final day, one lucky winner was awarded a Macbook Air through lottery. Moreover, two other visitors also won tablets. Apart from these, personal plans of Joomshaper worth $59 were handed out for free.
GitHub Community Manager Jono Bacon, LIGO facilitator Marco Rilo, Mozilla Advocate and Mentor Priyanka Naag, Joomla Avangelist and Member of Joomla Leadership team Tessa Merro, Creative Director Brad Frost and many other developers were present at the conference.
